I really liked this place. The deserts are amazing it's also one of the places that I would definitely recommend it if you want to change the atmosphere and study somewhere else beside the library or your room. I'm definitely going back again!!!

La Bonne Bouchee continues to be a treat every time i visit Missouri, the baked goods are always exquisite and the cafe is always peaceful and has an enjoyable atmosphere and delicious food. My waiter was friendly and efficient. All the staff i interacted with were very kind and helpful. There is always new things to try every time i visit and i've never had something that wasn't delicious. I would recommend getting the chicken sandwich on a more sturdy bread though for the structural integrity of the sandwich, unless you're ready to use a knife and fork. You must come to La Bonne Bouchee

I have come here for lunch a few times but mostly by grabbing cakes for various occasions. Le Crêpes Aux Fruits De Mer Et Aux Epinards is my savory fav! I can't find this dish in other restaurants so to me it's a pretty special dish. For bakeries, I always grab strawberry Black Forest cake for birthdays! Fruit cake for work functions and Christmas. The quality and taste have been absolutely fantastic and consistent even with the change of ownership during the pandemic. My son prefers macarons from Nathan Reid and don't particularly care too much for macarons here. I recommend to call and pre-order cakes unless you are looking for slices to try. Give this French bakery a try!

I was nearby for an appointment so I (finally!) stopped in to see what the hype is all about. I bought a box of 6 Imperfect macaróns ($6), a bag of 6 pre-packaged macaróns (I think $11), chocolate filled min croissant ($3.50), mini cinnamon roll ($1.95), tiramisu mousse ($6.75), and a chocolate truffle (can't remember price and it's not on their Online Order site). One of the macaróns in the plastic bag (that was not "imperfect") was already crumbling --likely banged in the basket it was displayed in -- but I didn't say anything. Might be better for the pre-packaged to be in boxes and the "imperfect" a.k.a already crumbling ones, in bags. Chocolate filled mini croissant didn't have enough chocolate for my taste, and filling was off to one side. Maybe I should have warmed it to spread the chocolate. Chocolate truffle was super rich dark chocolate so I loved it. Cinnamon roll is for my teen. Tiramisu is for the hubby. If I'm in that area again I'd try other pastries.
